1. Acceptance of Terms
By creating an account or using Salitup ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the Service.
These Terms apply to all users of the Service, including business owners, staff members, and clients who use the public booking pages.
2. Description of Service
Salitup is a cloud-based appointment and business management platform designed for salons and service businesses. The Service includes features for appointment scheduling, staff management, client management, and multi-location operations.
3. Account Registration
To use the Service, you must create an account with a valid email address and password. You are responsible for:
- Maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
- All activity that occurs under your account
- Notifying us immediately of any unauthorised use of your account
You must be at least 18 years old to create an account. You must provide accurate and complete information during registration and keep your account information up to date.
4. Subscription Plans and Billing
Salitup offers a free plan and paid subscription plans ("Pro"). Paid plans are billed on a recurring monthly or annual basis through our payment processor, Stripe.
By subscribing to a paid plan, you authorise Salitup to charge your payment method on a recurring basis. Prices are subject to change with 30 days' notice.
Cancellations: You may cancel your subscription at any time from the billing section of your dashboard. Upon cancellation, your account will remain on the paid plan until the end of the current billing period, after which it will be downgraded to the free plan.
Refunds: Subscription fees are non-refundable except where required by law. If you believe you have been charged in error, please contact us within 30 days.
5. Acceptable Use
You agree not to use the Service to:
- Violate any applicable laws or regulations
- Upload or transmit malicious code, viruses, or harmful content
- Attempt to gain unauthorised access to the Service or other users' accounts
- Scrape, reverse-engineer, or copy the Service without permission
- Use the Service for spam, phishing, or other deceptive practices
- Harass, abuse, or harm other users or third parties
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.
6. Your Content and Data
You retain ownership of all content and data you upload to the Service, including client records, appointment data, and business information ("Your Content").
By using the Service, you grant Salitup a limited licence to store, process, and display Your Content solely for the purpose of providing the Service to you. We do not claim ownership of Your Content and will not use it for any other purpose.
You are responsible for ensuring that Your Content complies with applicable laws, including data protection laws, and that you have the right to collect and store information about your clients.
7. Service Availability
We aim to provide a reliable service, but we do not guarantee that the Service will be available at all times. We may perform scheduled maintenance, and unexpected outages may occur. We are not liable for any loss or damage caused by service unavailability.
8. Intellectual Property
The Salitup platform, including its design, software, trademarks, and content (excluding Your Content), is the intellectual property of Salitup and its licensors. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works without our prior written consent.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Salitup shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of or inability to use the Service.
Our total liability to you for any claim arising from these Terms or your use of the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid to us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
10. Termination
You may terminate your account at any time by contacting us or using the account deletion feature in your settings. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at our discretion if you breach these Terms.
Upon termination, your right to use the Service will cease immediately. We will retain your data for up to 30 days to allow you to retrieve it, after which it will be permanently deleted.
11. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by email or by posting a notice on the Service. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.
12. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with applicable law. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the relevant courts.
